 Infusion/Mod validators needed!

As you may have already noticed, I added some sort of "verification" to the downloads. At the moment only for v7, basically because there are a lot of infusions to be verified and because v6 mods usually work good on older versions. However, since I don't have a lot of time these days I'm looking for a few people who can validate these infusions and mods for me. This all of course to extend the support given here and to distribute better infusions to the community. What needs to be done? All downloads in the v7 download list with a non-validated image (red) should be downloaded and then installed in a CLEAN v7.00.06 PHP-Fusion. Functions of the mod/infusion needs to be checked and the readme file should be clear in terms it's understandable (in English). What if I validated a download to work? Report it here and I will change the status in the download. Later on I'm planning to code a automatic system for this so users with validation rights can change it. What if a mod/infusion does not work? Try to fix it your self. If you can't fix it, report it in this thread with all necessary information like error codes, detailed description of error and maybe even a link to the infusion on your test site. Isn't life beautiful they way it is?

Well - I will sure be helpful on this one Diemux. I'll update this thread each time I have checked some MODS/Infusions.  Cheers! EDIT: (thought you ment to v7.00.05 - not v7.00.06) Diemux ain't you aware of that there's bugs in v7.00.06 (Dev. are working to fix them atm.). Try for yourself to install a clean v7.00.06 on PHP 5.3. I'll do it right after this post - if you will, i'll send you login to my hole community (site + FTP + phpMyAdmin + Controlpanel) - just so you can see/Check ? ----------------------------- Error 1: When all files is uploaded and i come to step 6: Final settings, the following error comes:  Then I click on the "Finish" button anyway. Error 2: This erros come then (look at the errors in header + footer ) :  When trying to log in the following erros come:  Then i can keep pressing ctrl+F5 - nothing happen. But I can press "Back" in the browser and then Im logged in. But I can't log-out - only if I clean all my browser-data. And then it's like "Error 2" again. Well that is weird. Don't know what is going wrong. Hopefully they fix it soon!

I dont get the error while trying to install v7.00.06 on PHP 5.3 (5.3.1) If i'm not mistaken, this error will arise if using date function (strftime(), etc.) without setting date.timezone in php.ini You can try editing your php.ini file. Now we have v7.00.07 today - and everything works fine on my testsite. I guess that we now can test the Infusions/Mods on that version, right ? If yes - I'll start beginning with testing.

wondering can i do this testing on my own computer .. with wamp ?? or does it have to be a true linux server ? if so i can put it on my own site in a back folder ... liek site.com/cms/pffolders.. and does it have to have php4 or 5. whatever ?? i would love to text .. when my GF screams at me i turn up radio and play on site lol .. cough cough .. ops she seen that smack with pan ouch .. Tested ....had a red check mark.. AirFusionUploader http://www.phpfus...&id=82 works great .. only thing you do have to download adodes air software and install on your own computer.. but to mass upload pictures its purfect ... tested on server is wamp. for windows.. pf.v7.00.07 php 5.2.9-2 msql 5.1.33 |

Any chance of getting this idea for validating 7.00.xx mods for 7.01.xx? For ones that have errors that can't easily be solved, they could be posted here. That way it would save you guys time since the community could get all the ones that are working and/or require only minor fixes. |
